1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grail Den ("the Service"), operated by Grail Den, a registered DBA (doing-business-as) of Tier 4 Support, Inc., a California corporation ("Company"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Grail Den is a collectibles intelligence platform that provides expert-led authentication assessments, marketplace search, collection management, and related tools for entertainment memorabilia collectors.

3. Authentication Disclaimer

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Authentication assessments provided by Grail Den are professional opinions provided for informational purposes only. They are not guarantees, certifications, or warranties of authenticity. Grail Den is not a professional authentication service. Verdicts should be considered one data point among many when evaluating the authenticity of collectibles. For high-value items, always seek professional, in-person authentication from qualified experts.

4. Affiliate Disclosure (FTC Compliance)

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (associate ID: tier4support-20), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. When you click these links and make purchases, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence authentication assessments, search result rankings, or item recommendations.

5. Authentication Services Disclosure

Authentication services on the platform are provided exclusively through Screen Grade, the human-led authentication arm of Tier 4 Support, Inc. Verdicts are professional opinions issued by trained human authenticators based on the photos and information you submit. Opinions may be wrong. They are one data point among many. Independently verify before buying, selling, or insuring any item based on a Screen Grade verdict.

6. User Accounts

  • Registration requires a valid email address
  • You are responsible for account security and all activity under your account
  • Account sharing is prohibited
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Tiers

  • Apprentice (Free): browse, translate the global hunt across 7 international eBay sites, 5 visual searches per month, 25-item vault, marketplace access at the standard 8.5 percent seller fee.
  • Hunter ($9.99/month or $99.90/year): unlimited visual search, full Through-The-Mail signer database, 100-item vault, marketplace fee 7.0 percent, beta-feature access.
  • Scholar ($14.99/month or $149.90/year): everything in Hunter, unlimited vault, lowest marketplace fee 6.0 percent, priority beta access.

Authentication services on Screen Grade are billed separately at fixed per-item rates and are not bundled into these subscription tiers.

Payment Processing

  • Payments processed by Stripe, Inc.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues through the current billing period.
  • Per-item authentication fees are non-refundable once a verdict has been rendered.

Refund Policy

  • Unused subscription time may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refund requests: our contact form.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of images, descriptions, certificate numbers, signer attributions, authentication evidence, and other content you upload. By uploading or submitting content, you grant Tier 4 Support, Inc. and its affiliates (Grail Den, Screen Grade) a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, fully-paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, copy, store, transmit, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute such content for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to: providing and improving the Service; training authentication models; case studies, press features, and academic research; promotional materials, marketing campaigns, and editorial coverage. You waive any moral rights to the extent permitted by applicable law. This license survives termination of your account and these Terms. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use authentication results to misrepresent or defraud buyers or sellers
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the authentication methodology
  • Represent independent expert opinions as PSA, JSA, Beckett, or other third-party-authenticator certifications

9a. No Scraping, Crawling, or Database Extraction (Proprietary Knowledge)

Grail Den's signer index, comparable-sale records, marketplace listings cache, exemplar corpus, certificate index, vault price aggregates, and Through-The-Mail database are proprietary, copyrighted, and trade-secret materials of Tier 4 Support, Inc. You expressly agree NOT to:

  • Use any automated means. scrapers, crawlers, robots, headless browsers, automated agents, browser extensions, scripted HTTP clients, or third-party data-harvesting services. to access, extract, copy, index, mirror, or harvest any portion of the Site, the API, or the rendered Services.
  • Train, fine-tune, evaluate, or distill any machine-learning model on data sourced from Grail Den without prior written authorization from Tier 4 Support, Inc.
  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any data obtained from the Services, including listing prices, signer aggregates, comparable-sale records, certificate numbers, or marketplace metadata.
  • Bypass, disable, or circumvent any rate limiting, authentication, robots.txt directive, CAPTCHA, or technical protection measure.
  • Aggregate certificate numbers, signer profiles, mailing addresses, or verdict records into any third-party catalog, dataset, or commercial product.
  • Use bulk-download or mass-access patterns even when each individual request is rate-limit compliant.

Violation will result in immediate account termination, IP and ASN-level network blocks, and may be referred for civil action under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the California Comprehensive Computer Data Access and Fraud Act, and applicable trade-secret statutes. We reserve the right to seek damages, injunctive relief, and attorneys' fees.

10. Marketplace and Third-Party Links

  • The Service provides links to eBay and other marketplaces for convenience
  • We are not a party to transactions conducted on third-party marketplaces
  • We are not responsible for items, listings, sellers, or buyers on third-party platforms
  • Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy policies

11. Intellectual Property

The Grail Den platform, branding, models, and original content are owned by Tier 4 Support, Inc. Third-party content (movie titles, show names, character likenesses) remains the property of their respective owners. Authentication assessments generated for your account are licensed to you for personal use only.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL AUTHENTICATION ASSESSMENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF AUTHENTICATION RESULTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE AVAILABILITY OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION OF THE SERVICE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIER 4 SUPPORT, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Purchasing decisions based on authentication assessments
  • Financial losses from collectibles transactions
  • Inaccurate authentication results
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Tier 4 Support, Inc. from claims arising from your use of the Service, including misuse of authentication results, violations of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

15. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Upon termination, your collection data and authentication history may be deleted after 30 days.

16. Governing Law and Arbitration

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (including its formation, performance, or breach) shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Los Angeles, California, before a single arbitrator, in accordance with the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures (or, for claims exceeding $250,000, the JAMS Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures). Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision.

NEITHER PARTY MAY BRING CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS in arbitration or in court. All disputes must proceed individually. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying our contact form within 30 days of first using the Service. Opt-out does not affect any other terms.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state and federal courts of Los Angeles County, California to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and will notify users via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
